Event Title

Using Student Success Collaborative to Enhance Student Advising

Abstract

Now in its second year of use on the PSU campus, the Student Success Collaborative Foundation is being upgraded this summer to a more fully-featured product called the Student Success Collaborative Campus. This session will provide an overview of basic advising features that advisors can use (notes, student profiles, advanced search) to provide them with more complete information on advisees and make advising sessions more productive and helpful. This session will be of particular interest to those advisors who have sophomore advisees, as you will learn how to take advantage of the notes that the Student Success Coaches kept on last year’s First Year Students as you begin your relationship with these sophomores.
