The Northern Gateway Regional Chamber of Commerce (NGRCC) is the premier business advocacy organization in Coos County, New Hampshire. More than 100 members are drawn from ten North Country communities, including Lancaster, Whitefield, Dalton, Randolph, Jefferson, Northumberland, Stark and Stratford as well as Lunenburg and Guildhall, VT. Among the organization’s key services offered to members are marketing, professional development and networking.
As an outgrowth of the North Country Community Development Support cluster initiative (PCL 105), the NGRCC is now considering the opportunity to work with Plymouth State University to enhance board function and address priority needs of members. The list of potential projects is long, prominently including marketing and branding challenges, assistance with website and social media communication, board functioning and key services.
The initiative will kick off in early September 2017 with an intensive engagement with the NGRCC Board including a diagnostic exercise, led by the project team. Following that initial exercise, the Board and PSU will work to establish mutually beneficial priorities, as described above.
