This project is a collaboration between faculty members and student groups from Sports Management, Athletic Training, Health Education and Promotion, Physical Education and several sports teams and student clubs with the Circle Program of Plymouth to foster active living in the community. PSU representatives work closely with staff of the Circle Program to plan, promote and implement and evaluate a community fun-run/walk event in April together with educational and recreational activities for all. Proceeds from the run/walk event are donated to the Circle Program. Students take on independent leadership roles in all aspect of the planning, marketing and implementation.
