The 2nd Annual Panther Pitch succeeded in promoting student innovation and entrepreneurship. Participants more than doubled from 45 students in year one to 94 students in year two. Entries increased from 45 to 47, and yielded greater participation due to more teams of students pitching ideas. Entries expanded beyond business majors and involved all class years. The top three winners were: electronic bike conversion kit made from recycled parts, social media awareness program to empower youth, MyPlymouth student app to keep track of assignments and make online material more accessible. Over 100 students, faculty, and community members attended the competition.
