Athletic training students utilized a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (CORE-AT) to track and document all patient medical records and exposures and incidence of injury across clinical sites. There were some complications with the EMR system being more cumbersome than anticipated but students were able to successfully collect data to identify injury trends and exposure. The data was analyzed and presented and will be incorporated into future injury prevention and treatment initiatives. Moving forward, the EMR system has been changed for easier use and integration.
