Abstract

An Intergenerational storytelling group and experience ­sharing among older adults and college ­aged students in a rural community. The benefits and challenges of facilitating such a group will be discussed. Learning Outcomes: Understand the benefits of intergenerational storytelling Develop an awareness of how the concept of intergenerational storytelling can apply to their own work and why it should be emphasized in rural communities Ability to replicate this type of group in their own communities
