Navigating the Possibilities: Implementing Taskstream for PSU Teacher Certification Programs

Abstract

Learn how the Holmes Center for School Partnerships and Educator Preparation began using Taskstream LAT to support teacher candidates. We’ll model how the following tools have been developed and implemented: - Clinical Database for monitoring teacher candidates’ field experiences - Field Evaluations from mentor teachers - New Hampshire Teacher Candidate Assessment of Performance via Taskstream - Monitoring candidate progress from their first year to graduation We’ll share challenges and lessons learned, along with a preview of next steps for the 2018-19 academic year. Faculty interested in how teacher candidates are assessed and supported through technology based quality assessment systems are encouraged to attend.
