Event Title

Cluster Learning: The PSU Approach to Education

Presenter Information

Robin DeRosa

Abstract

In this session, the Open Learning & Teaching Collaborative will present the core philosophies that underpin the emerging concept of cluster pedagogy. Participants in the Cluster Pedagogy Learning Community (CPLC) will share some of what they have been exploring through the CPLC curriculum, which focuses on interdisciplinarity, project-based learning, and open education. We will talk together about how to align our own teaching practices with the larger mission and values of the university, and consider how to keep learners at the center of our institutional innovation. This might be a particularly helpful session for faculty and staff who are considering applying to the CPLC for next year.
