Event Title

Leveraging Plymouth State's Alumni Network for Students' Career Preparedness

Abstract

Career Development and Alumni Relations are creating opportunities for directly engaging Plymouth State alumni in students success. Hundreds of alumni are volunteering thousands of hours annually in service to the University and our student body. The shared experience of attending Plymouth State, along with knowledge that spans many professions and industries makes our alumni uniquely qualified to volunteer in this way. Plymouth State's 37,000 alumni represent a remarkable resource for preparing students to successfully pursue their aspirations while in school and after graduation. Discover how Career Development and Alumni Relations are partnering with faculty and staff to leverage these relationships to make real impacts on the education and growth of students. Presenters will outline current opportunities and programming, faculty and staff will share their experiences of connecting alumni and students, and attendees are invited to share ideas for meeting their goals, while seamlessly fitting into schedules and curricula.
